Home for two months
Gwen has been home for two months (with us for 2.5 months). Here are a few stats:
* She's 16.5 months old
* She weighs 23 pounds
* She wears a size 5 shoe (China size 145)
* She wears 18 month sizes but the pants are a bit long because she has a long torso and shorter legs.
* Her hair is finally long enough that it "parts" when wet!
* She has 8 teeth
* She finally knows her name and will turn around when she hears it. She understands dozens of words and can comply with most instructions but still doesn't choose to speak other than her favorite word: "Baby!" She's branching out and trying new things to eat. Her current favorites are Chunky Bean and Ham soup and anything chocolate (that's my girl!).

I agree with Astra..she's a happy girl..always always smiling! I hope thing don't change at two:(
What a beauty Gwen is...but then I'm biased on Guangdong kids. :o) Our Sophie is from Zhanjiang, and we've been home for nearly a year (Jan.6). I'm anxious to read your China Trip blog, as I'm still a sucker for Gotcha stories/pictures--even after all this time. Maybe that'll always be the case??
Ohhh... I almost didn't recognize Gwen... she just looks so sweet and right at home in your arms!!
