Saturday: Arrived in Guangzhou

We've arrived in the Garden Hotel in Guangzhou, shown to the left. The lobby is expansive and extravagant. The rooms are really nice: modern Asian feel, with cool wood furniture built on multiple levels. The only downside is the mattresses. Let's just say that around the lumber yard, the boards call one another "stiff as a Guangzhou mattress." We're going to be here for a couple of weeks, so we're all unpacked for a protracted stay.

Donna, we just thought they only had box springs on the bed and forgot the mattresses. Holy cow these beds are hard!

Donna,
The room looks nice! Although, I dread the thought of dealing the lumberyard mattress.
Just think, when you leave that hotel, you will be leaving with your daughter (how cool is that??)
Everything is going well at the homefront. Lots of new people. We had 15 that got referrals yesterday!!

Donna,

Nice looking room! See if they have a suite to upgrade to. We upgraded and it made such a difference for the time we were there.....

We had no problem with the beds but my "hip hammock" pulled my back out....thank goodness there was a chiropractor in our travel group!!!
